WAR: WMD Revisionism

John Stryker at Sergeant Stryker has been performing an important public service for the pro-war camp in laying out the record of charges made by the Bush Administration detailing the dangers of Saddam's WMD (mostly chem- and bio-weapons) programs before the war; check it out here, here and here.

We may never learn the whole truth about Saddam's weapons. But it does bear examining how we knew what we thought we knew.

Good links, Crank. Returning serve, make sure you see the invaluable http://memri.org/ today to see WMDs: The Record.

can someone explain to me how

a) dubya lied about this when
b) saddam was trumpeting his nuclear achievements in late 2002?

maybe this thing is sort of a geo-political liar's poker. saddam said it so it's presumptively untrue and you become implicit in saddam's fraud if you base any foreign policy case on his pronouncements. anyway, an impressive List O' WMD Liars today: saddam, blix, ritter, chirac, both clintons, tommy daschle, dubya, blair... on and on it goes
