Another brutal, spirit-crushing performance by Armando Benitez spoiled last night's otherwise tight, well-played Mets-Yankees game.

I was also surprised by how long Art Howe stuck with Graeme Lloyd in extra innings, but the Mets bullpen is very thin these days which made Benitez's failure all the more frustrating.
