POP CULTURE: Unfortunate Title of the Year
How can Great White be issuing, or even re-issuing, an album with the title Burning House of Love after one of its band members and 99 of its fans died in the tragic Rhode Island club fire just a little over a year ago?
I’m hoping I’m just missing something here, because that seems like really bad taste.
UPDATE: It appears that I’m not the only one who saw a problem there. Also, a key point in the band’s defense, this was apparently a tribute album (i.e. it was produced by other artists covering Great White(!), not a release by the band itself).
